  • Live Off the Land : Survive With Edible Weeds

Some nice information, but a location would be good as all of these cannot be found everywhere. I live in Mid-eastern United States. The brand Allens used to sell Pokeweed in cans, you can google it and find some poictures (I have never been hungry enough to try this one) Pokeweed contains high levels of oxalyc acid. You should only eat the young shoots ans boil it, change the water and boil it again. Some additions would be Dandilion for salads, Lambsquarter - for a nice cream of lambsquarter soup, burdock leaves, stem, and roots, also nutsedge has nodules on its roots that you can toast and eat like nuts (duh). There are many others. But be ABSOLUTELY sure of what you are eating and how to prepare it. Also, malabar spinach is an invasive weed in some zones. Homemade Pork Lunch Meat

Fluffydragon stated that it is boiled for 20 minutes. By your directions, it sounds like 5 + 5 to 10 would be 10 to 15 minutes. Also when you let it cool, you do this on the stove, or in the fridge?

  • Cleaning Rust Off of Tools Without Harsh Chemicals

I heard of a recipe from Canada for rust convertor/protectant using tanic acid (what is in tea) and phosphoric acid. I would have to find it. I plan on mixing some up and trying it soon.

  • iPhone 5S & 5C Battery Replacement - How To

I have changed many batteries/repaired meny iphones and YES, for any of the iphones that fingerprint, you must open it slowly and remove the cover from and then the flex cable. If you break the cable YOU CAN NEVER USE THE FINGERPRINT AGAIN. Even if you get a new home button, the original is matched to the motherboard. A guide to repairing many phones and tablets, etc can be found at ifixit.com

    DIY Spot Welder

I understand the comments that say it is not DIY. This is very good, but for those of us who don't know enough about electronics, some more instruction on how to hook up the wires to the transformer and controls would be appreciated.
