About:I have always been one to take things apart to figure out how they work, so most of what I own has been dismantled. If it can't be taken apart or hacked, i'd rather not have it. And I like to do things the cheapest way possible, because I like to do a lot of things and I don't have a lot of money.
I just read back through the Make article and wanted to give you some props on this project and the way you presented it. I'm a straight up beginner in electronics, but this project alone has inspired me to keep with it. I still haven't really figured out what a mosfet is or what it does, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually. Three young kids and a demanding job don't give me much time for this hobby, but as my skills slowly increase I keep looking back at that cover shot of the Lawnbot and think, "Philippians 4:13, Philippians 4:13..." Then I think, "Man, does that really apply in this situation." Then I think, "Of course it does."
