I made this today but used bulk maple flavored breakfast sausage made from a locally grown pig. It was fabulous and will be a breakfast I will make again! Thank you for such a great recipe!
I actually cooked the breakfast sausage with the onion of course before I put it in the pie shell. I have leftovers so guess what I am having for lunch today?! Your video was so clear and well made. I wrote down the ingredients and didn't have to refer back to it when I made it at 6:30 this morning. By the time I had finished writing it down, because of your video, it was all in my head when I was ready to make it.
