Tools and Materials for Arduino
Conclusion & Going Further
Welcome to Arduino
Very nicely constructed lamp. I've got some B/W strips, I'l try to make one too. There are some ready-made dimmers available at f.ex. DealExtreme SKU: 299298 US$2.34 and accomodates 12Amps, so it says ? It may be burried into the base of the lamp foot ?
Would have been nice to include a few temp. sensors in column and boiler, flow sensor, pressure sensor in the boiler (explosion ?), + + + in an Arduino/RaspberryPie environement too.But alas, in Norway building and using this unit is illegal. I'm not sure that the "hounds" would accept that I (would have) made it to distill water, sighhhh !Find design though.
It took 1-2 weeks of "growing" the unit, painting included . Maple trees ....?I'm old. Would therefore have to divert usage of materials to very different "Construction" by the time the trees were ready for action ?!And it was fun woodworking. Gardening, well , not so fun .....
I made one With similar design With imprognated 2"x4"''s, and two Wheels on one side for transport (drawing in TurboCad). It looks "massiv" I'l admit. My weight, forget it.... My model will hold quite a few "muscular" heavy-weights :-)
