my experience with large Timber doors is best to do a steel frame and then clad with Timber , I've made a arch stable door with 100 year old iron bark Timber (from train bridge) and it still moved
with no snow brackets it will fall of house , also those brackets can save a life if to fall on roof , gutters in snow areas are much safer , i can hang off them 100kg , i now live where it warm and fixed a gutter that fell from just leaves in it , i think all gutters should be made this way
https://www.plastimake.com/ i found it now this stuff is awesome stuff , it so great they should do a competition with it.
I put plasticmate in mine, looks messy but works great that stuff , my laptop was that cracked I could push enough in so I didn't have to UN screw laptop, I don't know where to get plasticmate as it was given to me , it goes soft in boiling water then u mold it to any shape goes rock hard plastic .
this is a great idea, nowadays I love furniture on castors and easy to move, especially if my arthritis is acting up, so easy to move around without causing me pain! good job!
