Emergency cotter or shear pin. Turn your Louisville Slugger into a rather nasty club to whup zombies Make a mattress for overnight guests who happen to be magicians Make a supply of Caltrops....Google it.
How about a Community Service Stick? A broom handle with a nail in the end for picking up trash on the roadside. Even more stylish if you were stripes while using it. :-)
Spread baking soda on a cookie sheet, bake for a couple of hours at 250 degrees, the use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water to use in electrolysis. Battery charger supplies the electrical current. Hook negative to the rusty part being cleaned and the positive to a sacrificial electrode (I use rebar) make sure there's nothing between your part and the sacrificial electrode but water. Takes a couple of days usually but it the rust will disappear.

Nice build/design. Love that industrial look. Would like to do a similar build for patio using concrete tops.
Nice. When I went to school to be a machinist, one of the projects was to take a section of 100 pound rail, chuck it up in a large lathe, and turn the horn down. Then it was off to the surface grinder to to grind the heel and sides of the anvil. The last phase was heat treating the entire piece in a gas fired furnace. I didn't choose to make one of those but now regret that decision.
Really nice job. I have an F250 I'm planning on doing the same thing to. The current bed is toast, so it's off to the scrap yard with that and replacing with a flatbed. I really do like that wood look though. I was thinking all steel like chuckE2009 on YouTube but I like your design too. I am adding the stake pockets, bump rail, and a higher headache bar though. Thanks for sharing!
The best cooking instructions I ever heard for steak: "Cripple it, wipe it's butt, and send it on out."
I'm with ya on that except for the aluminum foil bit. Aluminum foil has been found to leach chemical nasties into food when heated. Apart from hats to block mind control waves, I never use the stuff where heat is part of the equation. :-}
Sounds pretty good but how do you keep from over cooking the garlic? It gets quite bitter if allowed to overcook. Thought about cooking with onions and adding garlic toward the end of the process to get the flavor but avoid the burn. Garlic and onions make for good steak fellows. :-)
In my humble but most accurate opinion, cast iron or stainless are the way to go. Non-stick coatings other than carbon are a no-no.
Make it even easier to ignite by sprinkling it with gun powder before you mix it up. Just don't over do it. A little dab 'll do ya.
I had a large plastic tote with 200+ gallons of water I used for electrolysis. Skeets love it when the current wasn't running through the water. Let 'em lay their eggs and hatch into wigglers, then turn the current back on. Given a whole new meaning to the term wigglers! :-)
