Did you already make the spoiler? Because I'm very interested in how you did that. Can you post an instructable or a link to where you learned to do that?
im sorry I didn't reply earlier. My daughter was born this week and has been busy taking care of her. as for the spoiler, I came across several problems with it. I visited the local junkyard and got thespoiler off a 80's saab. I wanted to make a functional nascar style spoiler, not those spoiler wings you see on ricers. the saab spoiler has a good height and curves but it doesnt conform to my 1996 mazda millenia trunk. I tried to cut it to size by removing 1 inch material from the middle and clear taping it down to the trunk and using bondo to mold the end to conform to the trunk. hate to say this but my artistic ability to mold the bondo sucks. Iam scrapping it. Instead, I am going to use dense sytraform from home depot, cut it in 1.5 inch strip and use adhevise spray to attach the styraform to the trunk then sand it to desired shape and then carefully use clear tape and tape it down, making sure it doesnt overlap otherwise it will show up on the fiberglass mold. I will return to this project next week.
