I made a box this week for all of the cool beer mats you gave me :D Some of them are almost twice as old as I am! I have ones from 1970 and 1980 :D

Ah yes! I like that one of the 256 colour gifs has an ABBA poster in the background.... I don't know how old you are, but that's a pretty accurate reproduction of the early internet.

There's an idea, but I was using an academic network, which as a JANET /SuperJANET hub was pretty fast. But things still downloaded was that slow. Pulling data off an audio-tape drive to a "home computer" - that is where the electric-screeching came-in...

I went quite heavy on the Answers early on, but I do less these days 'cos there are more people giving good replies. Frollard was the first to 100, he put a lot into answers earlier this year.
