Thank you for the great Instructable! I decided to use your design, with a few of my own modifications. It's big, it's heavy, and I can beat the snot out of it and it will just grin at me. I used two 2'x8' 1/2" ply on the top. I used only a handful of screws to keep it in place so that I could remove it when it's seen some heavy action.
Perfect Sawhorses: adjustable and knock-down design
No measured drawing? Every woodworking project should include a measured drawing. The measurements for the pieces that require angled cuts don't even list if it is for the short or long side. And I paid for a subscription to this site? Ug!
No Frills Workbench
Thank you for this fun Instructables. Didn't have too much problems building mine. I was planning on trimming the lengs and ended up leaving them long, the added height is perfect for my uses. I was going to anchor the whole thing to the concrete wall but it's so heavy it's not going anywhere :) I altered a few things and made mine take-apart-able. Also not shown yet is the pegboard I mounted on the back with 2 more 2x4s. The LED shop light is awesome.
