Thanks, a cool thing about the design, is that it can be entirely disassembled. I plan to install some 2-3 inch electric sprinkler valves, and wiring them up to some buttons. I just need to figure out how. I'm not good with electronics, (yet).

do you have an instruction thingy on how to make it for an ipod touch?

i think it would be the same as the nano, depending on what case you used (video, touch).

I just cut a hole in the top of the case the size of the iPod end of the cable, held the buttons on the side of the connector down with a cable tie and glued it in the hole. i ran the other end of the cable out the back of the case through a small notch

i think there is an instructable on it here

yeah ive seen that one all over. but i meant there was this one where it was like glowing and all and clear

I used the case the nano came in because it was clear. You can't see it in the pics, but there is a switch on the back and 12v inside (i used a 9v and 2 AA's) I know 12v seems like a lot for some LED's but it is a bar with 5 surface mount LED's and some resistors.

ohhh i see now. thats a pretty cool dock. i just finished my ipod touch dock, its the simple one made out of the box it came in.
