Thanks wayne this is very helpful. I don't own a 3d printer yet, waiting for a kickstarter model, but it might be a long wait.
Hi, was wondering if anyone can answer these other questions.1. The M10 lead screw, should it be fine or coarse pitch?2. I'm having trouble finding an economical acetal block, however I've seen acetal rod diameter 30mm on ebay which i'm hoping will work as well if I use the flat edge vertical.3. I'm having trouble working out which series 6000 bearings i need, can you specify the details?4. The F62322 flange bearings given in the ebay link seem very small with an internal diameter of 3mm. Is this intentional?ThanksMartin
Hi, this project looks great, thanks for your hard work!I have a question about the titan extruder. I'm relatively new to 3D printing and find the titan a little expensive, compared to a mk8 but I'm not sure if i'm comparing the right thing. I'm assuming that if I buy the 3D printed parts from your shop, i'll need to use a titan to be compatible. Is it possible to indicate which products i'll need from e3d at a minimum, i'm not really concerned about fast printing, and different options and combinations are confusing.I love the design, but to decrease the cost is it possible to buy just the bed polycarbonate without the front panel? I think i'll be ordering the printed parts and rods as well.
