It also works in the microwave, I have made these for years. 1 slice of cheese on ceramic plate for one minute, dab off released oil and peel it from the plate. It can be shaped before it cools. I have used Swiss, Muenster, Mozzarella, and Brick cheeses. They are chewy while hot and crisp after they are cooled.
It does require a longer vertical shaft, so this does not qualify as a rocket stove!
To be a proper rocket stove the combustion chamber must be three times taller than its diameter, and preferably insulated.
