The Bible refers to fasting on many occasions and if it will do you good then why not? For all of those arguments about what doctors say, they aren't living in your body and they keep changing their minds on how you should do something all the time anyway. So I would say if it will help you out why not try it? If it doesn't, well it didn't cost you anything and you can pick up eating where you left off. You have to pay attention to YOUR body and how you are feeling and if it doesn't feel right then stop. It really is up to you.
