cvaughn3 crazy-blender ANY arc back to the primary circuit will kill you if it touches you. The RF from the secondary may not kill you outright, unless you are the shortest path to ground, but all high frequency discharges do cause nerve damage which may not show up for years. (I built my first coil in 1954 and I still have all my parts.)
Just one question. How did you cut rectangular holesd as shown in the diagrams and end up with elliptical holes in the finished picture?
You can often get dead tubes which are sold as "For Display Only", cheaply.
