I have never tried a unicorn, but I am currently working on a dragon using the same technique. I see no reason why it wouldn't work with a unicorn though.
have you tried making a unicorn or other animals???
Edible Gingerbread Cuckoo Clock with Internal gears
I really want to try this... Can't wait to get started. Thank you for the clear instructions.
These are great instructions! I decided to make it this year and it turned out fabulous. I did a blog post on my experience and definitely referred back here because I couldn't have done it without these instructions!

I'll let you know. I'm afraid by working directly onto the paper, the paper will be a mess before I'm finished. The Monogrammed outline is the only part I'm really worried about. Thanks for replying.
Many years ago I worked on some quilling projects. I put my design under glass (with tape) and worked on my pattern. Do you think I could glue the letter onto glass and work on the design on the glass. When it is done, I could remove it w/ a straight edge razor blade (carefully). Do you think this would work?
I'm in grade 11 and I did mine half at home half at an after school club. I assebled it over the last 3 days with the help of my friend (I needed the extra height). I glued mine together with hot sugar instead of icing which made it sturdy and quick to set up but it will be on display within the school for a few months and after that I have plans to hit it with a baseball bat :)
After a lot of work I have completed my version of the burrow :) not quite like the original but I tried my best! Thank you for the pattern and instructions!
