Michael works as an Associate Professor in Digital Media at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he teaches mainly on issues of hybrid spaces and performance as interaction. He is fascinated by the intersection of the digital with the physical domain and explores this borderline in with the help of performance, creative media, and digital craft. He directs the Digital World and Image Group and is involved with various interdisciplinary research centers at Tech and other places.
