Very true! Sounds like a more multi-national country than the UK....Did you know that London, once the proud capital (note: not capitol) of this mighty land, speaks in more languages than any other city on Earth? Tis sadly true, last time anyone bothered to check, there was over 200 languages all being used at once....I think I should worry about our own language and spelling: I cannot see Plain English holding out much longer!Have a great New Year, (I would have said Merry Christmas, but we aren't supposed to say it any more, its happy holidays now),Mike
we sacked the Imperial system in 1971, becuase metric is much better. We gave you this system many moons ago, and eventually we saw the light and adopted Metric, its about time you did the same. We also gave you apple trees, and OUR own favourite, good old Apple Pie. "American as Apple Pie" is therefore a rather odd statement! And, as a final note, the word is "maths", an abbreviation of "mathematics", there is no such thing as mathematic. You manage to pronounce "physics" pretty well, so can you please try a little harder with "maths", if you wouldn't mind.Otherwise, we will have to take back our country and teach you all the basics again!Have a happy and peacefull new year, Mike
But it is wrong to say soddr instead of solder, calvary instead of cavalry! It just shows how stupid a whole nation is, the rest of the world is laughing at you! And what about units of measure? the entire planet uses Metric, the most accurate system known to Man...yet stupid yanks still use (old english!) Imperial units, like 115/456" or even 11/112" , or 11''11/16', 17/69 etc...we gave up on these stupid old fashioned numbers years ago! get a grip USA!
You need to learn to read and to speak properly. It clearly says solder and the entire planet except the thick yanks says solder. Is the same as the word Cavalry: Why do you say Calvary? Hyundai is pronounced hundai.....terrible!
its called SOL-DER not sodda
