Hi, I am using an ESP8266 to do the same, and instead of lighting up LEDs i have hooked up relays to the output pins of the 74HC595. I have used a daisy chained 5 Shift registers to control a total of 36 relay. but the problem that i am facing is that my data is send correctly upto 24 bits i.e. upto 3 shift registers but it does not appear properly on the 4th shift register package. Can any one of you help me with that?many thanks.
