Flexible Camera Mount
Paracord Hiking Belt
this is one of the best DIY presentations I have ever seen. Thorough and to the point. However, I am a little puzzled by the images for the 1/8" copper wire. A close look seems to indicate that this is a tube and not a solid wire. There is a product called McClamp used to hold flags and small items for CU/macro photography. Even though it is great for delicate items, it use 1 and sometimes up to 3 copper (also ca. 1/8") wires in an articulated tube 1/4" inner diameter; but there is no way I would trust it to hold my cameras in any position.I am going to adapt your method to make a clamp similar to McClamp.
