I tried quite a few 3D programs but so far I wasn't very happy with the result, so this template was created using different paper craft templates I found online. Using trial and error, I had to go through about 4 prototypes before it was somewhat usable. Hopefully I will manage to come up with some sort of an easy solution worth sharing soon. Thank you very much for your comment ;)

Thank you for your comment, I'm not quite planning to use it in my dinning room either ;)
Thank you very much. I'm not sure if that would work, the laminate sheet would most likely just shrivel, however you could use an iron (for clothing) instead or anything else that's quite hot and makes contact ;)
Thank you all for your comments and some excellent ideas ;)

I would tend to agree withyou, however the secondary monitor is almost square so there wouldn't be muchgained. Also it depends on an individual needs for a second monitor e.g. Teamviewer,Remote Desktop and or other programs that are better viewed landscape. As forthe LED's, in this particular project they were never intended to serve just assimple "decoration" as they have more of a functional purpose, theyserve as additional desk illumination as required. When the additional lightingis not needed it can be simply turned off leaving only the keyboard illuminated. The brightness can also be increased or decreased to suit my bf’s needs at thattime. I might add some casing later but for now it's not necessary. I doappreciate your comment though, thank you ;)

Agreed, exactly what I was thinking too. It's funny how something so cute can be such a nuisance :D
