    Use Aperture in a DSLR

I'm sorry but your tutorials are in part very misleading for the beginner. Please stop!some of my students looked and were not confused because they had been taught the correct usage. But they did bring it to my attention (40 years experience) I have a lesson for you, for the time being leave your camera on Auto but take note of the EXIF data of each shot, later as you start to see the effect that Time, Apature, ISO, WB, Exposure etc, have on each shot that you make, you will be able to go to your Manual or Av and Tv settings and use these with well armed knowledge. This does not take a day or 2. Next suggestion read the manual. Or do more research on line. But please stop putting missinformation on Instructibles.

Use Shutter Speed in a DSLR

Well you managed to get that very wrong. 1/ Time Value on a Canon (Tv) 2/ Get your fact right = ISO controls the amount of light 400 less light 800 more light. BUT shutter speed is diferent the faster the shutter (the higher the number) = 1/1000 sec less light. 1/250 sec more light the shutter is open longer. If you go down to 1/1 the shutter is open for 1 sec and is good for water flow etc but you also need a tripod which is something you did not mention. Your examples, if you left your shutter open for 20sec your would get total highlight blowout (exposure) you would not get a picture.

TIP: Unless the camera is on a tripod or stable surface, you generally do not want the shutter any faster than 1/60 / WRONG! Sorry you have your ISO and shutter speeds totally mixed up.

    Coat Hook

Some are blessed to see the final product without all the instructions, but not all are so blessed. Does it fold right down to a 45deg angle or partial and what is the hole in the middle for. How do you attach it to a surface, and how do you hang anything on it. As a famous politician, once said "Please explain"

I'm not getting a clear explanation so can you check my reasoning. The Camera is on and eventually goes into Standby mode (asleep) then when you move the Mode dial it brings it out of sleep and the intervalometer does the rest. The Arduino setup is only to activate the servo for the mode diaal. Am I on the right track.
