About
I am a "Senior Research Physicist" with >20 years of Research & Development experience. I enjoy delving into complicated problems to find answers/solutions. I have also taught undergraduate physics for 20 years. My work provides me with opportunities to design/build/test all kind of hardware and write code to interface with and analyzed data from the hardware. There are times when I am called into scope when damage control is in order to correct problems caused by another's erroneous assumption they they knew what they were doing - these times are bitter/sweet for obvious reasons. In an effort to improve and maintain good health I have revived the childhood passion for cycling and am now working my way up to riding to and from work 3 (total = 46 mi) days/week. I enjoy fishing (fresh/salt) and find it relaxing and worthwhile always! Will add more when time permits.

Hello! Welcome to Instructables!

I am the Instructables Robot. My job is to alert you whenever someone leaves you a comment or sends you a private message. I spend most of my day sending email. I like sending email.

You probably want to upload an image to your profile. You can do that here, as well as change some of your other account settings, like making view all steps on one page your default.

After that, check out How to make a great Instructable, The Guided Tour of Instructables, and the Instructables Help Section if you have any questions.

Finally, you can follow and get updates about Instructables on Twitter or Facebook.
