I think you are asking if it works on the Teensy? Shouldn't be a problem, SPI is well-defined protocol, and the sketch should compile for a Teensy if the IDE recognizes it. Let me know if it works. Cheers.
1. Instead of messing with the library, just use file>open and navigate to the arduinolyzer folder. it should let you open the folder with the .ino file in it as a project.2. run npm install from the same directory as the package.json file. npm will read the package file and install the node modules in the cwd.
The read speed is limited by digitalRead(). This nifty website has some code for characterizing the IO performance: http://jeelabs.org/2010/01/06/pin-io-performance/You can try their code and see how fast your board reads, that will be the limiter. I don't know what the different read speeds are for the Arduino product line. Maybe you could write an instructable and compute the various IO speeds for the Arduino product line!
