Ruben,I saw your post on the light switch remote build on instructables. I'm a hobbiest woodworker and often need a similar idea with my power tools. The difference is I need a plug that will power my vacuum system when I start a power tool. An example is I need the vacuum system to turn on when the table saw starts. Even better for the high load for it to start a second or two after it starts and stops a second or two after I turn it off to clear all the sawdust. They sell commercial versions of this but they are very expensive. Do you see an option with your designs to achieve this? Keep in mind the actual plug/relay would need to carry 20+AMPS. I'd love to know if you have a slick idea for this on the cheap! Thanks for the help and post! If I can DIY this successfully then I will definetly try it! Just need a little mentoring for such a device. Get Outlook for iOS
