Hadn't soldered for a number of years, but this went pretty well. Easier than sewing, for me.
This is a smaller switch, more of a push button to be on the back of my hand where I can tap it easily.
Held off on sewing part, because I want to solder the snaps, but the coding works fine.

Made the momentary switch smaller, to make a worn 'counter'. Works like a champ!
Ran the circuit through the seams of the hat and put the battery in the sweat- band.
