I think the filter would only be useful after applying 1 drop of bleach and waiting about 10 mins to kill bugteria after swishing around the bag....all the info is good to think about...the brita would cancel the chlorine of the bleach after the bugs are dead...need about 1 micron or less for actual physical removal of biological uglies...but a sunlight on the dash of car could kill the bugs if heated or exposed enough even a clear plastic bottle it can work if the turbidity is settled...if you are really exposed to bugteria and getting sick eat charcoal from campfire...
