an easier way to mix and check condtivity might be to use a metal cup that you can attatch your multimeter to and a stir stick that has a conductive tip that can be attatched to the other lead of your multimeter. as long as you dont touch the cup to the tip you can see instantly when the mixture becomes conductive. you might not get an accurate resistance reading because of the cup but you will know right away that its ready or close to it. your stir stick prob works fine but seeing the resistance instantly might be of some help. cheers.
