    I had an idea to offer a wedding registry with RAISED signatures surrounding a pvc framed picture of the bride and groom. I wanted to give the frame a tactile feel by raising the signatures. I tried the idea out with a 40W Co2 laser but all I got were the engraved, carved-in sunken texture of that technique (the complete opposite of what I was looking for). Sometimes it almost seemed to work but for the most part the attempts looked as though the signatures were sunken in not raised. I got the idea from a new debit card I received where my signature on the card was raised above the card, protruding and giving it a embossed feel to the card.
