Cheap cardboard paint booth
Très bonne idée d'utiliser la boite "Merlin Pin Pin" pour la micro cabine de peinture.Je vote !!!
Fan: 20 watts, ideal strength and suck power for this design (my first design used 15W, and was just enough but didn't vent all the fumes always)The more you close the lids the more sure you are the fumes are getting out. If you work with the lids totally open some fumes could scape and go to your room. But with a 20W fan this is not really a problem.Sometimes when you work with a really toxic spray (or your wife just hates the smell...) you just want to be extra carefull to not allow any smell out of the paint booth :)
Great idea using cardboard. Cheap, light and easy.I like the looks of your fan. Can you provide specs?Wondering how you control how quick fumes are vented by adjusting lids. Is the amount of air moving out of the box not a function of the fan? Certainly the air will be moving into the box 'faster' through a smaller opening, but the same volume of air will be moved, correct?
I need a big one of these to act as a fume hood in my workshop.
