Well, if you live near a Lowes Hardware the have a small selection there, the are usually tucked away on an end cap. I bought a lovely one for my friend a few months back. These have been passed down to me so they have been in the same growing climate for decades.
They have different types there. You should be able to find some cool ones. PM me on FBI with your snail mail address and we'll see if I can share one of mine with you.

Thanks TeresaM7, I was going to have to research RetBill's question because I didn't know the answer.
DannyGlassman, You are a fountain of information. Thank you so much for sharing it with the rest of us who are just beginning.
It is so much fun. I never knew that this existed until I got it for a Christmas gift. I would love to see a pic of some of your sun catchers.
Sorry I had to laugh at your opening. I agree with jooly4, a hug and kiss for your mom is a good idea. If you have never tried it, it is great fun!!!

Awesome information. I will check into score runners and the info on the slump test is very enlightening. Thank you so very much. Sorry you had trouble getting it to go through.

Thank you so much for you input. I am relatively new to this so I thought if others were thinking about trying it, this would be a good starting point for them. I will try some of your suggestions. Good catch on the kiln paper.

ppasqual, thanks for the encouragement. I wanted to be constructive helping people get started with something very difficult to start and to keep up sometimes. And, indeed, if you guys can do it throughout the year the rest of us surely can.

That sounds fantastic also. May have to try that one sometime.
Thanks piperjon, knew you had to be in the south. When I saw this I remembered you also commented on my potato salad. Hope you try and enjoy them both. :)

Cats Dragon, thanks for the comment. You can pick up gear most anywhere. Check at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, AC Moore, Amazon. There are gears everywhere. :) Let me see what you come up with. Have fun!!!

Mutahir, Sorry to tell you but it will not become a habit doing it just once. Start slowly. Just one step at a time, a few extra steps a day, just looking at the beauty of the world around you and no matter where you are there is something to see. Just take it slow. The hardest step you will ever take is the first one. They say it takes 30 days for something to become a habit. If I can do it, so can you!!! I am hoping the best for you. Let me know how you do with it.
Thank you so much for the positive feedback. Hope it is helpful.

You're very welcome. Hope it is helpful!!! :)
Thanks. It is something that matters to me. Ummm.... If you are not used to exercising the old adage you have to learn to walk before you run comes into play. Having a weight program is also important. Something I didn't do and am working on now. So weights (with someone who knows their stuff so they won't let you hurt yourself) great idea. Best of luck. Let me know how it goes.
That is a great idea. It helps you know how much active time you get, which is important.
Thank you so much!!!

You are correct just enough to cover them would work, it is just habit to put it in a half gallon pitcher. And that would make an awesome devil egg flavor.
Thank you. Hope you try them and enjoy.
