  • The single most effective way to get rid of a sunburn

    Hello, im from the future and am going to respond to an eight year old post! People like to sell all sorts of products for sunburns that dont actually work. Why people still think aloe vera is good for a sunburn baffles me! To stop your skin from peeling you simply need to keep it hydrated. This can be done with any skin lotion you fancy. As long as you keep the skin hydrated, it wont "flake" off. It will still peel because the skin cells are dead and need to shed, but usually takes place in the shower as you scrub. The peeling will no longer be noticable through out the day. Also, if you get a severe sunburn and apply lotion within a few hours often times you wont peel at all because the cells stayed hydrated. The principle here is "keep the skin hydrated"!
