Self Spinning Gyroscope
Fascinating. I'm curious. Would this setup levitate fragments/crumbs/grains of aluminium -- albeit less efficiently -- or does one need a sheet of metal before it'll lift? And, if so, will the fragments clump together or lift off the ground like a cloud of particles?

Black Plague Memorial And Tombstone Tips
Hmmm. I like your project but feel that you've posed a puzzle on the wrong platform. Instructables is where you show people how to do something, how to solve a problem, how to fix something -- not to showcase your skills without sharing them. I worry that more people will do the same and dilute the central purpose of an instructable.
Hi seamster, thanks for your quick reply. I'm an avid instructable reader and your project was certainly worth a read, but it left me disappointed -- from an instructable and expectation standpoint. I thought you might like to know that. Nobody writes to disappoint. If you really want to go with a puzzle then I would humbly suggest you attach a PDF solution or link to a parallel project where you add "Solved" to the title. I would be very disappointed if Instructables drifted away from being a solution site. If Instructables doesn't hold fast to that central idea, people may start ignoring instructables which come up in search results -- instead of linking to them first -- diluting the platform for the all the dedicated instructors and makers who gather here. My 2c worth.Personally I think you would get a LOT more positive comments for making your process plain and patent, mine included.
Great idea. I have three Landsend shirts made from madras cloth which have this problem. What length did you use: How close to the neck/collar did you fuse the interfacing? If right up to the top button hole, doesn't it show when worn open neck?
