I remember hearing on NPR's "You Bet Your Garden" that everyone always assumed used coffee grounds are acidic, but when someone finally bothered to test them, they weren't particularly acidic. It seems all the acid is in the coffee, and the grounds are fairly neutral. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
