Yeah it really wasn't hard at all, I just unscrewed the valve at the top with a wrench and dumped out all the powder : ) Now I'm using it hold hydrogen made from a chemical reaction. Yeah it is! When hydogen burns completely, like in an explosion, it gets hotter than the sun. I've melted parts of rocks with my hydrogen torch.. : ) Of course cardboard could hold that hot of an explosion : ).. I really dont think it'll be a big deal though, it's really not all that dangerously powerful when it's not compressed like it'll be in your gun, especially in a small volume..

Right, but this one holds pressure, so it's used to fill up bottles or such.. Hopefully I can find an engine to convert to run off of it.. Me too, It is home made, based on internet stuff.. That's cool, but it may blow apart completely it your projectile is too tight in the barrel, so be careful.. That's awesome I'd love to have a mini one, now just get a battery and hook it up directly to your other tictac box through a lighter valve and it can be portable! The bullet thing might work, so long as they're not sitting around too long, as the gas will seep out of it, and the bullets would have to be completely sealed wtih the playdoh.. I had an idea like that at one point : )

Me too but I'm having trouble finding one! That's awesome you should upload a video of it or something. That's probably a good way to go. And finding people to play who are willing to use hydrogen guns can be hard : ) I've designed a few guns that use HHO, but something tells me if it's something the military wanted they'd have it by now..

definatly, I've seen bunches of videos on the web.. Awesome! Yeah I doubt the electric guns are HHO guns. They're probably coilguns or sound guns, which are awesome. Recoil can be taken down in tons of ways, they're the military. I'm sure the trainging, studying, and practicing is important, weapons are usless without strategy, but it'd be awesome to get some new technology out there.

That can be the slogan!! Ah ok, theres always one more thing you want to do before opening it up for worldwide critisizm.. That's true, but it can be compressed and let out in small bits.. That's true I've never heard of Brazil fighting anyone.. That definatly seems like a good idea, sending in at least one squad would probably do a lot. Something tells me the planes France is willing and able to sell aren't top of the line..

Awesome! That sounds great I'd love to see it.. : ) Right, or like how butane refills are done in canisters. That sounds good, a little more business and a little less fighting here would be nice... Ouch, that doesn't sound like a very good idea..

Hey

thats okay, I'm not doing a whole lot nowadays because wrestling started up and I already hurt my ankle, woohoo..

The Engine I've been working on isn't running yet, I have to get the whole fuel-air ratio thing much better.. I had an idea today to just burn the HHO in a torch heating a boiler to run a steam engine, which would be way simpler..

How are your things going??

That sucks, what's spiroball?

Well there isn't when you're just burning it from your tank.. But with the chemical method I'm using now there's slightly more hydrogen than oxygen from what I can tell from the torch's burning. Then when it goes into the engine it mixes with more atmosperic air, so either the gas is being diluted too much or my ignition is all wrong..

It would, I could eliminate two strokes and wouldn't have to worry about ignition timing and all that..

That sounds cool, that's the problem with being in school is that the whole time you get new ideas but never have time to work on them

Awesome, thanks, XD which ones did you read??

Awesome : ) It's possible, I just wish mine had worked.. : / I might try an Mk II if I get a chance and I'll document that one too.. That's sweet, I had thought of using them for that, butane is tricky for spud guns because it requires a pretty sensitive fuel-air ratio in my experience.. And it's great to salvage fun stuff from what you have laying around the house XD

Of course : ) I just dont know if I'll ever get to it now that school's started again.. That's sweet, I have a small pile building up of lighters that I need to take apart still.. That's awesome, I wouldn't have thought of using a tictac container... : )

Yeah, but when Christams rolls around I'll be in the middle of wrestling season, so jet engines will take a back seat : ) You definatly could! I'd rather have pneumatic legs personally, but thatd be pretty awesome. Bigger is almost always better with a spud gun, but you still have to keep it "mini" in this case... Try throwing some hydrogen in there : )

Men's what in where?? : ) I'm not really a sportsman, more of a strictly wrestling and other fighting-sports man. Right that's kind of what i ment : ) I'll need them eventually when my knees give out.. That's awesome, I've made a hydrogen paintball gun before. 3/4" CPVC pipe is the perfect barrel : ) Not at all! You can set up an electrolosys thing like is used to boost MPGs in cars. There's instructables on in and youtube is great.. And I store mine in plastic bottles and have never had a problem : ).. I know everyone just thinks of the Hindenburg and is scared to death though..
Aug 31, 2009. 5:25 PMfozzy13 says:
O ok that's awesome : ).. I'm not super strong either, I'm usually overpowered buy you can do pretty well with good technique : ) I know what you mean, waiting to load the bottle is really painful when you're excitied about the bang and fast moving objects.. Mine only takes 5-10 minutes depending on how well it's running for a 1 liter bottle.. O ok I get it, luckily my parents at this point don't really care what I do in terms of experiments and know that if I'm going to do anything really dangerous I'll tell them : ). Ok that's awesome, being from Brazil I mean : ).. the Hindenburg was an airship made by Germany during WWII that was made bigger than anything at the time to 1-up America. Since helium was cut short during the war they filled it with hydrogen to make it float. The problem was the skin they used on it was really flammable, and a spark got on it somehow and it burst into flames above NYC and killed a couple people I think.. And now everyone thinks hydrogen is terrible and deadly because the skin of the balloon was so flammable..

I understand that, I don't plan on playing any sports in college.. It's fairly quick, but I'd really like if I could ever get 1 liter per minute.. I use a car battery charger that plugs into the wall.. Girl's is always a plus : ) Right, and you can cut almost anything using the hydrogen for a torch, which is fun : ).. That's horrible, I can't imagine anyone using hydrogen for a balloon.. Hydrogen deserves caution, but no more than propane or acetylene in my opinion..
Sep 2, 2009. 4:10 PMfozzy13 says:
yeah I'm sure I will too, but once I'm out of sports I can always run, which my coach doesn't want me doing now to preserve my knees for wrestling.. Right, what I have is a hydroxy generator, it just goes by different names, like HHO.. And all the air it needs is built right in to the fuel : ).. It's tricky to manipulate but not hard, all you need is a bubbler and a flashback arrestor.. I do store them together, but it's not near any spark source or pressurized so if it got ignited it wouldn't make a big enough bang to hurt anything : )
Sep 3, 2009. 6:22 PMfozzy13 says:
It isn't but it's much less time consuming and it can feel good just to go out and run by yourself and clear your head, I think : ) I hadn't even thought about static ingiting it but that's definatly a problem.. But we have no cold dry days in ohio, just cold and wet.. Grounding the tank wouldn't be any problem though.. Me too, I've been working with it for over a year now : ).. the risks really aren't all that they seem to be in my experience, I've never accidently damaged anything I didn't mean to.. It actually burns so fast you usually never see fire at all, just a LOUD bang and a little flash, so it doesn't really burn long enough to heat anything long enough to set it on fire, if that made sense..

Yeah, that's kind of what I do. No not at all. We get lots of snow which can be fun but really gets annoying when it snows in March. Ouch! I almost always test anything I pressurize with water first.. I was actually caught in the first explosion of the first version of my hydrogen paintball gun. It made my ears ring for about a week and I had some nasty blood blisters on my hands.. It was fun though : ) That would be awesome. The problem is if you separate them you get much slower production, and I'm impatient.. That sounds dangerous : ).. I don't think you would set it on fire if you used HHO, I think it would either be disintegrated or all black just because of the gaseousness of the fuel..
Sep 9, 2009. 4:05 AMfozzy13 says:
Hopefully, it makes driving a mess though.. No not at all, I put water in the container in place of where the alcohol or gasoline would be and pump air into it to see if the water leaks out anywhere. You can't compress water : ) Yeah I should really find out where my safety goggles ended up : ) That would be great if it was the same, I have my electrodes too close in my setup to separate them... Awesome!
Sep 9, 2009. 3:35 PMfozzy13 says:
That's true : ) Right that's okay it can be fun to forget physics : ).. Nope just a water pump : ) That could be fun, I'd rather make an airgun using the same sort of process though : ) Eh it gets the job done..
Sep 9, 2009. 7:34 PMfozzy13 says:
Nah just compressed air. At least, the fire extinguisher I took apart recently used compressed air and powder to put out the flames.. Awesome! An explosion hotter than the sun in a tic tac box? I see nothing dangerous about that : )
