3 years ago you posted this diagram - can you tell me where the Battery + 12 volts connected to the circuit please?

What do you want the circuit to do ?

I want to operate a hen house door - we have a large goanna stealing the eggs and will use a photo cell to activate the close at night and a timer/manual operation to open during the day after we have collected the eggs

Try this, its a proper circuit diagram which you can make work with whatever relays you can get your hands on. The collection of diodes on the left is optional, as are the R and C across the motor. Be careful to make sure your limit switches are in the right positions for the motor

Thanks very much

That's a very specific relay for some guys project, i don't think you can get that any more. Would you like me to dig out the original circuit?

Hi I am looking for a gadget to measure the output of a LED Flood light as it states 30W

steveastrouk (author)  rashaj887 months ago

That will be 30W electrical input, not 30W output.

Thought you might like to see a closet ElectroDynamicBrake

steve, i have sent you a message. it is time sensitive. thank you!

Just saw you moved. Welcome to the USA! We're in the same state, I'm in the SouthEast portion. What a small world.

Thanks. Still settling in of course, and LizzyastroUK isn't here yet, she's packing stuff up back home and keeping an eye on my mother. I miss my wife !

So you're near Philly or what ?

Steve

I must say, that was a really big move for you and your family. And I am sure LizzyastroUk misses you too.

As for my locale, I am about 30 miles west of Philly in a little town named Phoenixville. If you watch the original Blob with Sreve McQueen, that's the place. The Theater is still here and in daily use. Only about 2 - 2.5 hours from you, depending on which route you take.

If you ever get out to State College, be sure to look us up. We must be about equidistant from Harrisburg - we ran down there to look at the huge Costco there last weekend, and the boys have developed a taste for Arby's restaurants - there aren't any out in State College.
