Tell us about yourself!
Lousy picture quality, but this is my first attempt to use the knotting spool I made yesterday. I like how well The spool I used is pictured behind it.
I used 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, I inch and 1-1/4 inch PVC pipe with a coupling for each size pipe., drilled the holes, and inserted the cotter pins. I actually went with a shorter pin than the one in the picture.
I made mine with PVC as well. I replaced the cotter pins in the picture with shorter ones
PVC Pan Flute
I made several but only used 2 outers. What does the extra 2 outers do for it?
Maybe I miss understood. One of the pictures above shows 4 separate outer links in addition to the ones still attached to the inner links. Mine seem to work fine regardless.
I have made some of these with various points, but I have no picture to show because I can't find where I put them.
If you don't have the electric tools, I found a better way to cut the bushing. I laid my hacksaw on a smooth surface. Keeping the saw from moving with one hand, I slide the bushing back and forth on the saw blade. It isn't something you can rush, but after the cut is made, I used sandpaper to smooth it out.
