Let me see if I have your design right...top lid is from an old Weber or the like, 3 levels of cooking grates, bottom door is for drip/water pan, pedistal surrounds a small patio grill base for your charcoal and wood chips. Drip/water pan door allows you to add wood chips through-out the low-n-slow cooking process. Also, you like smoking duck, chicken, turkey breast and pork butts/shoulders...and a hot dog or 2! How'd I do by looking @ your 10 photos? That smoker would make a great instructable!

Semper Fi Jarhead, I didn't come up with the plans. If you like I can mail a set of plans that go step by step with pictures on how to do it. I have a couple other smokers now. Oh and your right on the money on how it works..... So your into smoking and BBQ too?? Good to hear from you.............. Frank
