Making a wallet phone case
Tyvek!I had to think..... "Tyvek...Tyvek.....I know Tyvek.....but why the heck can't I recall what it is?....."Well, then I looked it up and of course! House wrap! But even there on the search page across the top were categories like "Bag / Wallet / Coloured / Paper" (what on earth is Tyvek paper? lol).So yeah, that sounds really cool to try that material. I just had no idea it was so versatile :D
Thanks Bjwpg! I had forgotten I made this! that was a fun little project, Ive switehed to tyvec wallets for now, i shoudl post some of those.
What? Over 12,000 views and 60 favourites and *no one says anything?! Well, let me be the first. I think this is brilliant. I'm getting a different phone and want a combo case / wallet and have so far been disappointed by the poor selection out there. This is a great alternative, and one could modify it to one's own needs---with a flap(s) over one or more slots; with more or less slots; with an outside little enclosed pouch (with a snap, maybe) for tickets / change / whatever. The angled slots look tres cool. To keep cards more secure, as the author alludes to, they could just be made slightly higher up the side / deeper. I also like the cloth & leather combination. And it could be made out of almost any fabric / vinyl / plastic type materials to suit individual tastes.Well done :)
