  • Salvaging Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs)

My guess is that it´s not going to be easy, and economically more effective would be to buy a new LCD with a known model and a datasheet available (i believe it costs somewhere around 15 bucks) than trying to launch this one. Although making this one work would be much more interesting of course. I would be happy at least if i could draw some lines on it, because i still can attach a battery to the circuit of my nearly-dead iq445 and see a colorful picture. Here´s some links i found during my research:https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f...https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f...and there are others...I also extracted cameras from the iq445, but I have no idea how to drive them from rPI - it cannot be connected directly to the raspberry, because th...see more »My guess is that it´s not going to be easy, and economically more effective would be to buy a new LCD with a known model and a datasheet available (i believe it costs somewhere around 15 bucks) than trying to launch this one. Hey. I just retrieved this display also, but can't find a datasheet. As for the pinout, you can find it in FLY IQ445 schematic (it is available on the internet, Just google for the "iq443 schematic" and you'll find this pdf document), but it won't help you much I believe, since you need a datasheet for the display to be able to "drive it".
