Thank you so much! It has taken a lot of years to be able to freehand sculpt and draw like that so I'm very excited it has finally become easier for me! I used Pro Art soft pastels or Loew Cornell soft pastels bc they aren't too expensive and have great color :) I wouldn't go much more expensive bc the concrete literally eats away at the pastel so they don't last long. I usually try to find nicer pastels when I'm illustrating insead since those are art pieces that will last much longer!
Thanks! That's what I was thinking! Or a crazy idea I had was to fiber glass it (which I would def have to learn how to do), gut out the inside, cut some intricate patterns into the tentacles etc, attach some LEDs inside and hang it on the ceiling as though it was busting into my house! How cool would that be? Too crazy?! lol just a thought ... :)
