About
The things I love are as follows: Studio Ghibli, Karate, Japanese, Instructables, Plants, Animals, Fruit, Bicycling, Summer, Spring, Knex, Legos, Star Wars, Babylon 5, Star Trek, Violin Music, Playing Violin, Other Music, Eating Food, Math, Science, Other-Worldly Colonization, Spore, Vi Hart, Good Teachers, Solar Panels, Magnets, Copper Wire, The British SAS Survival Handbook, The IT Crowd, Protest Songs, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, The Mars Society, People who read the "About Me" section of a user's page on Instructables. ---------------------------------------- In unrelated news, wars should be fought with remote control tanks and aeroplanes no bigger than a matchbox car, in a 5x5 kilometer wide arena. Teams from warring nations would go into seperate control booths, from which they would guide their machines. The losers of the battle would be the losers of the war, and would be in control of the winning nation. In this fashion, no one would get hurt. ---------------------------------------- In further unrelated news, the United States is operated ridiculously. Spending over half it's budget on "national defence;" politicians worrying about nothing more than overturning the opposite political party; still using barbaric fossil fuels; allowing single family 6000 square foot houses to cut down hundreds-of-years-old trees for space; not having sent people to mars already; allowing corporations to to focus on nothing more than earning more money; and having the nerve to doubt for an instant that people sanction its many meaningless wars of the past 50 years. ---------------------------------------- A set of laws exists in some of the states informally known as the food libel laws. Those laws mean that if a person speaks poorly about a food product, particularly fast food products, the companies that produce them have the grounds to sue that person for millions of dollars. Said law is clearly defying freedom of speech, or press. Unfortunately, the nasty-big food companies have friends in very high places. The USA constitution is the basis of our government, not the politicians, whether they beleive it or not. In concordance with my previous statement, I prefer chickens that were able to stand up with their own muscles. It is also a plus if the chickens are fed what they evolved to eat (I am legally allowed to write this because in my state, those terrible laws are not in place). Also, in no state is there a law preventing libel of the food libel laws!
