About:The individual is nothing but a body. Every individual is a member of the same collective. That collective comprises all living things on Earth. Every member is obligated, in return for a portion of the resources of Earth, to do all it can over its life to make the world a better place for everyone else. Most living things do that already. Deer, for example, improve the fertility of forest soils and provide meat to other animals. Wolves, if they occasionally eat of some ranch cow, make up for it by reducing deer and rodent populations, protecting crops. Humans, however, need to think of how to act to better the world. Humans (especially Americans) usually use more resources than they should. One effective action to take is to reduce the number of plastics or other synthetic chemicals they use, thereby reducing the toxic chemicals present in the biosphere. Another is to be kind to all living things. Never kill or cause pain without necessity.
