So I built a 90mm version of this (with a $10 frame from Banggood), and have been flying it around my room with no problems. However, I just soldered on the camera last night, and now the transmitter is sporadically dropping out or something--the motors all just shut off, and it falls. I can easily rebind and get back into the air again, but I'm only about five feet from the drone when it cuts out. Any ideas what might be happening?
By the way, apparently having motors spin constantly when powered on can be a symptom of a blown FET. (I had been reading about the Turnigy Micro-X, which suffers from bad FETs very often, and this is how it's most often identified.)
I was having the exact same issue, and tearing my hair out. Then I realized--you can simply TYPE IN the "TAER1234" to set the Throttle/Aileron/Elevator/Rudder channels. So, you have more than the three channel maps, since you can alter the order of the 1234...
