About I am an erstwhile Trailerpark Scholar, tinkerer, student of life, graduate of the school of hard knocks.... with a couple of tech schools and a college degree tossed in. I live in Lufkin, Texas, with my wife and two kids.
I'm different! And I'm not really describable. Not so important here, my politics are mostly libertarian with a few quirks. I oppose the wars the US is in. I oppose the oppressive regime of Homeland Security and TSA. I will NOT fly. And I believe the most important thing people in the US should do is learn the truth, develop important skills, and be prepared for a world most do not expect.
I spend most of my days working around our house developing an assortment of projects. Instructables Website is intriguing because it provides lots of information and ideas. I have to admit a whole lot of the ideas I've already figured out. I've been making/fixing things on a shoestring budget for several decades.
Bottom line, what I can do based on my education/work/hobby experience? I can load a tractor trailer with supplies/materials, build a house from the ground up, install plumbing/electric/heating & AC, finish the house out, move in a desk, set up a computer and write a book about the whole thing. I have done every one of those steps. Am I bragging? Ha. Whatever.
