Born in Luanda, Angola, he was brought up by a tribe of Congolese Vodou Shaman after he was found living within a Lions den, although he had many animal like characteristics they were able to humanize him and teach him to speak Kikongo. it is believed he may have fell from a Jeep his family was traveling on while on a hunting expedition.
