My wife found this trap of yours, and we both agree it's nice. Until I can get one done and hung, I have been " Toing-ing" them with a rusty old rip saw.
The quartered finish is a great idea, I would never have thought of that. Kudos!
I'm working on a set of nunchakus made from a seasoned switch handle, and am using a small hand router to allow the rope to lie flush. Your 'chunks look great. What kind of finish would you recommend?
that's a great way to stow your weapons. I like the "Rising Sun" as it lends a respectfully traditional aspect, although I may cut a "punisher " stencil and work on a creative way to interweave and paint the cover. Well done.
Very well done, the kanjis are a nice touch. I'm making a set from an old, well-seasoned switch handle, but they are just for the fun of making them. I will most probably use 1/2" pvc and cover with foam pipe insulation and skateboard grip tape in hopes they will be more forgiving in the case of hitting myself.
