Taking back the world, one hacked game console at a time ...

Have you ever felt like the technology you love could be used against you? Or that the government is watching you .. a little too closely? Have you ever felt like you just had to skip school? Do you hate bullies? Have you ever felt the call to fight back- and that the fight was waaaay bigger than just you?

So, apparently, my story's been written by this Cory Doctorow guy. He seems like a pretty stand-up hombre and he has a blog at http://www.craphound.com (and http://www.boingboing.net which he co-edits).

I love Little Brother! I swear, I've read the book so many times I'm gonna have it memorized soon! I got just a tad paranoid after reading it, but of course that's unavoidable. This is the only book I've ever read more than twice. Usually, I read a book and I can't stand it again. But Ive read it about 20 times now. Also, it's kinda creepy, but all my friends say my personality matches up with Marcus's perfectly. I don't think so, but Van, Jolu, and Darryl remind me so much of my best friends from school, and Ange reminds me of my girlfriend. All these Instructables are awesome!

There is a ton of mention here about Little Brother, some equally great reads can be found in Over Clocked. Over Clocked is a collection of stories by Cory Doctorow. Also if you take the time to read the last few pages of the book (bibliography i believe it is titled) you will find some amazing sites all that helped contribute to the inspiration of Little Brother. I have a question that i couldn't find in the book about what marcus looks like it may have been that i didn't read it carefully but i'm sure i did. anyways, what i got so far is that he is 17 and he is 5'8 other than that i don't know what he looks like physcialy << spelled that wrong >> I just need to know a couple more things about what marcus might of looked like, his hair color or eye color, everything else i can find but them to things are vital to my report... Paranoid Linux was made up for the book. People are working on developing it, but they're doing it in their spare time, so progress is slow. We're going to have to wait a while before Paranoid Linux is available to the public.
