  • Sprout Seeds Overnight...with Scarification!

    Hey, I have great success against all odds growing Sequoiadendrons specifically giganteums, here in the UK. Love to help.Apparently as they were only brought over from the states last century none of our examples are old enough to have much success germinating. I have great success however with stratifying in the fridge, usually awhile as I forget them. But I believe a week or even less will suffice and then once removed an overnight floating in water. then i will wet soil and just sprinkle a lot on top.Maybe I should make an Intractable. or PDF. I now have about 12/15 approaching 30cm high. use an ordinary compact, preferably with something to stop the soil holding too much moisture, but some I didn't and they're fine also.
