The Light Clock (IoT)
Hi Chris,Could you please add an option in the settings where we can disable night mode altogether?
Hi Chris,In step 5, you may want to mention that they have to choose the correct com port number, otherwise they'll end up with a com error during the upload phase.
don't give up; I had the same problem but figured it out (you just need older versions of the software)! You have to uninstall the latest version of that arduino ide software you currently have and install version 1.6.5 (I believe it says r5 after that). once you've done that, you need go into the application and back into the board manager options to change the ESP8266 software version to 2.0. after that you can try to verify the code. If you get any other errors let us know.
I'm really enjoying this project so far! I'll surely post a picture once I'm finished. It might be worth noting in step 13 that the gnd and vln pins should connected after the USB cord has been disconnected and they are ready to plug in the 5v DC power adapter.
