I have heard you must take the little guy/gal at least two miles away to release or he/she will be back into your place pretty fast.

My last post: Your humane mouse trap is great. Off topic: Use "carpenter's cloth" (a heavy metal mesh with a smaller diamond pattern) in the flower beds. It stops all critter digging, from cats going potty to squirrels and other rodent types but allows your flowers to grow through it. It sells by the foot at any of the large building supply places and lasts forever. They will cut it for you too, so measure your beds before you shop. Lay the pieces down after planting and cover lightly with soil. I can finally grow tulips - ye gads; squirrels were eating them like apples!
