hi. nice idea for continuous back light. one thing I was wondering with your circuit can you simply add a light or photo sensor to stop the led being on during daylight or would this need some more circuitry.??BTW. I have a mains powered alarm clock that had a green display which lit up the whole room. I tried a few things, first was covering it with black pvc tape but was too dark. then I tried white tape. it was better but still not great. the solution I use now is clear sellotape that I then covered in black permanent marker. I gave it more coats of marker to get the darkness desired.
World's Simplest Electric Train
it won't work if the other wheel can turn freely.the differential will just let the other wheel turn instead of turning the engine.

thanks for the kind reply and hopefully I can get a chance to make this soon. originally I was only going to make one but I like your build. I might not make as tidy a job but the legs idea just came to me so will give it a try. great instructions BTW. I have seen some boards with a few different size / shaped holes for different amount points so still considering this option too. thanks again.
The Cornhole Boards
they look brilliant. just wondering if you considered the option off having the two boards mating or integrating top to tail and using the legs as locators by leaving them protrude below the bottom edge of each board meaning they would support or locate the opposite board. Sorry if unclear but just thinking it would do away with the wooden locator tabs and leave less sticking out to break.if you did can you say if any draw back or reason not to use. I going to copy most of this for scout group. thanks for your ideas.
